The material of conductive slip ring requires high mechanical strength. It is not only a good conductor of electricity, but also has corrosion resistance. When sliding in contact with the brush, it must have wear resistance and stable sliding contact characteristics. In general, steel collector ring has good wear resistance and high mechanical strength, so it is mostly used in synchronous motors with large wear difference of collector ring caused by polarity.

Radial collector ring is a very common electrical accessories, normal operation, the three-phase winding through the resistance of the radial collector ring short connection. It is wound with a symmetrical three-phase winding. When starting up, a starting resistor is inserted into the rotor winding in series to reduce the starting current. The slight vibration of the radial collector ring should be dealt with in time to avoid the enlargement of the situation. If not handled in time, it will cause frequent damage to the pressure spring and brush, scrap the radial collector ring, and fine grinding of the motor in the axial and radial direction.

Radial collector ring is a very common electrical appliance. In normal operation,  the three-phase winding is connected by a radial collector ring. There is a symmetrical three phase winding. When  starting,  a starting resistor is set in the rotor winding to reduce the starting current. If it is not processed in time,  the pressure spring and the brush will be damaged frequently. The radial collector ring will be scrapped and the motor  shaft will be grinded in radial direction.
